Finance Council
"In each parish there is to be a Finance Council which is governed, in addition to universal law, by norms issued by the diocesan bishop and in which the Christian faithful, selected according to these same norms, are to assist the pastor in the administration of the goods of the parish, without prejedice to the prescript of canon 532 (i.e. the pastor represents the parish in all juridic affairs) (Code of Canon Law, 537)
The Council is the consultative body in parish financial matters, both ordinary and extraordinary. The Council provides advice and guidance to the pastor in the administration of parish assets and acts of extraordinary administration.
The Council reviews the parish budget, financial statements and annual year end statements of income and expenditures. Current members of the Finance Council include the following persons: Tom Kosal, Earl DesJardins, Gregory Jarmolowicz, Timothy Mooney, Harry Golenberke, Mary Ann Castle
